Information and Eligibility:
The NAWIC Founders Scholarship Foundation (NFSF) provides financial assistance to students pursuing construction-related education. The foundation offers two scholarship categories:

  • Undergraduate Scholarship: Available to students enrolled in construction-related degree programs leading to an associate or bachelor’s degree.
  • Construction Trades Scholarship: Available to students enrolled in construction-related training programs approved by the Bureau of Apprenticeship Training, community colleges, technical schools, or equivalent institutions.

Undergraduate Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a construction-related degree program at a U.S. institution.
  • At least one term of study must remain before graduation.
  • Applicants must be pursuing a career in a construction-related field.
  • Students can be enrolled either part-time or full-time.
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.

Construction Trades Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a construction-related training program in the U.S.
  • High school seniors entering construction training programs are eligible.
  • Training must be in a construction-related craft or trade.

Application Requirements:

  • Applicants must complete the appropriate scholarship application form available on the NFSF website.
  • Official transcripts must be submitted as part of the application process.
  • All application materials must be received by February 28 for consideration.

Application Timeline:

  • Application Deadline: February 28 (strict deadline).
  • Notification of Awards: Selected recipients will be contacted directly by the NFSF Administrator.
