  • Résumé or personal statement summarizing the applicant’s interest in the mining or mineral resource industry, prior experience or coursework, and educational/career goals.
  • Letter(s) of recommendation from an educator, employer, or industry mentor familiar with the applicant’s mining/mineral discipline interests (if required by the specific fund).

Selection Criteria:

  • Academic achievement and preparedness for study in a mining, mineral resources or geology domain.
  • Demonstrated interest or commitment to the mining or mineral resources field in New Mexico. Applicants with internships, mining‐industry exposure, geology club involvement or related activity will be favored.
