• Up to $10,000 per year, renewable for up to four years, totaling a maximum of $40,000.

The Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship is designed to encourage high-achieving students to pursue a career in education. This scholarship provides substantial financial support to students committed to teaching in Indiana after graduation.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Residency: Must be a resident of Indiana.
• Academic Achievement: Must rank in the top 20% of high school graduating class or have a top 20% ACT/SAT score.
• Enrollment: Must be admitted to an eligible Indiana institution and pursue a course of study leading to an initial teacher certification.
• Commitment: Must agree to teach in Indiana for at least five consecutive years upon graduation.

• Complete the Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship application through ScholarTrack.
• Submit official high school transcripts.
• Provide proof of ACT/SAT scores if not in the top 20% of graduating class.
• Include a personal statement expressing the desire to become an educator.
• Participate in an interview process if selected as a finalist.

Additional Information:

• Recipients must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher in college to continue receiving the scholarship.
