Information And Eligibility:
The Nightingale Master’s Degree in Nursing Scholarship is designed to support graduate nursing students pursuing advanced practice and leadership roles within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This scholarship applies broadly across all specializations within a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program, including but not limited to Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners (CRNP), Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS), Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM), and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA).
The scholarship is awarded annually in June, provided there are qualified applicants. Funds may be used to offset the cost of tuition, required books, and other approved educational fees associated with graduate nursing education.
Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to nursing leadership and service within Pennsylvania. The program prioritizes students who plan to live and work in Pennsylvania after graduation and who are enrolled in a Pennsylvania State Board–approved nursing education program.
Students in their first semester of graduate nursing school may apply by submitting a partial transcript and clearly noting their enrollment status within their personal statement.

Applicants must complete the online Clinical Nursing Scholarship Application and submit all required materials, including transcripts, a multi-part personal statement of commitment, and two letters of recommendation (at least one from nursing faculty or a program director). Recommendation letters must address the stated selection criteria and include full contact information for the author.
