• Be enrolled as a part-time undergraduate student taking 3 to 11 credits per semester at a participating New York State institution.
• Be matriculated in an approved program of study leading to a degree or certificate.
• Maintain good academic standing as defined by the institution.
• Not have exhausted Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) eligibility.
• Meet income eligibility requirements:
  • For dependent students or independent students with dependents: New York State net taxable income must not exceed $50,550.
  • For independent students without dependents: New York State net taxable income must not exceed $34,250.
• Not be in default on a student loan guaranteed by HESC and not have any outstanding state or federal grant overpayments.

Application Process:

• Complete and submit the APTS application directly to your institution by their specified deadline.
