Information and Eligibility:
The Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Foundation, the charitable arm of the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, supports youth and education in the beef cattle industry through scholarship awards. The program is open to Oklahoma high school seniors and current college students who have or whose family have ties to the cattle industry and plan to continue their studies at an accredited institution in Oklahoma.

Eligibility criteria include:

• Residency: Must attend an accredited college/university in Oklahoma or be a graduating high school senior planning full-time enrollment at an Oklahoma institution.
• Industry Affiliation: Preference is given to applicants who are children or grandchildren of Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association members or Junior Cattlemen’s Association members.
• Field of Study: Applicants may pursue any area of study, though those connected to agriculture or beef cattle production are highly encouraged.
• Academic Progress: College students should demonstrate intent to continue full-time enrollment and make satisfactory academic progress.

Application Requirements:

• Completed scholarship application form made available by the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Foundation.
• Résumé or personal statement outlining the applicant’s background, goals in college, and interest in the cattle/beef industry.
• Official or unofficial transcript showing previous academic performance.
• Proof of membership or affiliation in the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association or Junior Cattlemen’s Association, if applicable.

Selection Criteria:

• Demonstrated interest in the cattle/beef industry and plans for continuing education.
• Academic achievement and potential for success in chosen educational path.
