Information and Eligibility:
The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee offers annual scholarships to students from Farm Bureau member families who are enrolled in a nursing training program at an accredited college, university, vocational-technical or trade school. The program recognizes the importance of nursing education, especially in rural communities, and aims to support applicants who are actively pursuing their nursing career goals.

Eligibility criteria include:

• Industry Affiliation: Applicant must be a member of a Farm Bureau family or from the Oklahoma Farm Bureau membership.
• Field of Study: Must be enrolled at least half-time in a nursing training program at an accredited institution in Oklahoma or the United States.
• Academic Standing: Applicant must provide proof of enrollment in the nursing program and maintain satisfactory academic progress.

Application Requirements:

• Completed scholarship application form provided by the Women’s Leadership Committee.
• Official or unofficial transcript reflecting academic performance and enrollment status.
• Proof of enrollment in a nursing training program (college, university, vocational or trade school).
• Verification of Farm Bureau family membership.

Selection Criteria:

• Academic performance and readiness for nursing education.
• Demonstrated commitment to a career in nursing and potential to serve rural communities.
• Quality of application materials (transcript, proof of enrollment, membership verification).

Additional Details:

• Three scholarships in the amount of $500 each are awarded annually.
• Funds are disbursed through the recipient’s institution and applied toward educational costs.
• Applicants may apply up to twice during their eligible training period.
