Name: Oklahoma PTA Scholarship – Oklahoma PTA

Award Amount: $500 – $2,000 per recipient

Information and Eligibility:
The Oklahoma PTA Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors who are members of their local PTA or PTSA unit and plan to enroll at an accredited Oklahoma college, university or technology center. The scholarship is intended to reward students for academic achievement, community involvement and dedication to their education.

Eligibility criteria include:

• Academic Level: Graduating high school senior.
• Membership: Must be a member of a local PTA or PTSA unit in Oklahoma.
• Enrollment: Planning to enroll full-time at an accredited college, university or technology center in Oklahoma.
• Residency: Resident of Oklahoma or attending an Oklahoma institution.

Application Requirements:

• Completed Oklahoma PTA Scholarship application form.
• Official or unofficial high school transcript including GPA and class rank.
• Résumé or personal statement describing educational goals, leadership and community service.
• Proof of PTA/PTSA membership and confirmation of acceptance at an Oklahoma institution.

Selection Criteria:

• Academic performance and readiness for higher education.
• Leadership and service in school, PTA or community activities.
• Clarity and strength of personal statement and goals.

Additional Details:

• Scholarship funds are sent directly to the recipient’s institution after enrollment is verified.
• Multiple awards are available each year through the Oklahoma PTA Scholarship program.
