Name: Oklahoma State Fair Scholarship – Oklahoma State Fair, Inc.

Award Amount: $2,500 per recipient (10 awards)

Information and Eligibility:
The Oklahoma State Fair Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors or homeschooled students in Oklahoma who have demonstrated involvement in the state fair’s competitive programs (such as livestock, equine, creative arts, etc.). Applicants must be Oklahoma residents, U.S. citizens, and plan to enroll full-time at an accredited college, university, vocational or technical school. The award recognizes academic achievement, leadership, community involvement and verified fair participation.

Eligibility criteria include:

• Academic Level: Graduating high school senior or homeschooled student.
• Residency: Legal resident of Oklahoma and a U.S. citizen.
• Fair Involvement: Must have verifiable participation beyond attendance in the Oklahoma State Fair’s competitive programs.
• Enrollment: Planning to enroll full-time (minimum 12 credit hours) at an accredited college, university or technical school following graduation.

Application Requirements:

• Completed scholarship application form via the Oklahoma State Fair scholarship portal.
• Official or unofficial high school transcript noting GPA, class rank and test scores.
• Résumé or summary of honors, leadership positions and community service.
• Written statement (essay) describing personal motivation, involvement in fair programs, and educational goals.
• Proof of enrollment in the institution for which the scholarship is awarded, once selected.

Selection Criteria:

• Academic performance and potential for success in higher education.
• Demonstrated leadership and community involvement.
• Quality of written essay describing fair involvement and future goals.
• Verification of participation in the Oklahoma State Fair’s competitive programs.

Additional Details:

• Ten (10) recipients are selected annually and awarded one-time scholarships of $2,500 each.
• Funds are paid directly to the recipient upon verification of full-time enrollment at an eligible institution.
