The Park Scholarships program at North Carolina State University provides a comprehensive educational experience for exceptional students, emphasizing scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum unweighted GPA of 3.8.
  • United States citizen, permanent resident, or graduating from a high school located in the U.S. (regardless of citizenship status).
  • Applying for fall, first-year admission into a baccalaureate program at NC State (not open to transfer students).

Application Requirements:

  • Submit the NC State Early Action admissions application by November 1.
  • Complete the Park Scholarships application by November 1, which includes:
    • Two recommendations.
    • Information about advanced coursework completed.
    • Two essays.

Application Timeline:

  • Application Deadline: November 1.
  • Semifinalist Notification: By December 19.
  • Semifinal Interviews: January 18, 2025 (via Zoom).
  • Finalist Notification: By February 5, 2025.
  • Final Selection Activities: February 28 – March 1, 2025, in Raleigh, NC.
  • Award Notification: By March 19, 2025.
