Information and Eligibility:
The Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GQCHCC) offers the Paul Lensmeyer Future Leaders Scholarship to support students dedicated to advancing the Hispanic community. Established through a generous donation from Ascentra Credit Union in honor of former CEO Paul Lensmeyer, this scholarship aims to invest in the future of the community by preparing aspiring professionals and entrepreneurs for the challenges of the future economy.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a dependent or employee of a GQCHCC member. If your employer is a member, you are considered a member.
  • Open to:
    • High school students entering an accredited undergraduate or vocational program.
    • Non-traditional-aged students pursuing continuing education.
    • Individuals seeking advanced degree programs.
  • Demonstrated interest in working with or advancing the Hispanic community.

Application Process:

  • Download and complete the official application form and review the rules from the GQCHCC website.
  • Prepare an essay as specified in the application guidelines.
  • Submit the completed application and essay to:Hispanic Chamber/LULAC Scholarship709 4th Avenue

Additional Details:

  • The scholarship is offered in partnership with LULAC #5285, which provides a matching award, effectively doubling the scholarship amount for recipients.
