Information And Eligibility:
The Postdoctoral Earth and Planetary Sciences Fellowship supports scientific research in planetary geologic and geophysical processes. The Center for Earth and Planetary Studies (CEPS) at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum is involved in NASA and ESA planetary missions, with a focus on planetary landscape evolution, volcanism, tectonics, and remote sensing analysis.
Proposals should demonstrate expertise in areas such as planetary geomorphology, tectonophysics, and volcanic processes. Applicants will need to provide a detailed research proposal and justify the use of Smithsonian resources.
