Name: Presidential Elite Scholarship

Award Amount:

• Full tuition for up to four years or eight semesters for undergraduate, graduate, or law studies
• First year of on-campus housing at regular room rate (based on assignment by Housing and Residential Communities)
• $2,000 one-time allowance for use in research or international study (after completing one year of study at UA)
• $1,500 per year supplemental scholarship for four years

Information And Eligibility:
A student with a 4.0+ GPA and 36 ACT or 1600 SAT will be selected as a Presidential Elite Scholar. This prestigious scholarship is awarded to those who meet the academic criteria and demonstrate exceptional academic achievement.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must have a 4.0+ GPA and a 36 ACT score or 1600 SAT score.
• Must be admitted to the University of Alabama for undergraduate, graduate, or law studies.
• Full-time enrollment required.

Deadline:

• Spring: Submit an admission application and all supporting documents by December 16 for consideration, including GPAs after completion of junior year and test scores through December 16 of the senior year.
• Summer/Fall: Submit an admission application and all supporting documents by May 1 for consideration, including GPAs after completion of junior year and test scores through December of the senior year.

Notifications:
Qualifying admitted students will automatically receive merit scholarships. Notifications are sent approximately two weeks following admission or submission of official test scores from the testing agency.
