Information and Eligibility:
The Prochnow Educational Foundation, in collaboration with the Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA), offers this scholarship to support bankers pursuing advanced education at the Graduate School of Banking (GSB) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. The scholarship is valued at $1,500 per year of attendance, covering approximately one-third of the annual tuition fees, for a total value of $4,500 over the program’s duration.

Eligibility criteria include:

• Employment: Must be employed by a member of the Wisconsin Bankers Association.
• GSB Admission Requirements: Applicants must meet GSB’s admissions criteria, which include having at least five years of banking experience and a four-year college degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Program Enrollment: Scholarship recipients must begin the GSB program within one year of the award date. The scholarship is non-transferable.
• WBA Educational Program Participation: Applicants should have attended and successfully completed one of the WBA’s educational programs, such as the WBA School of Bank Management, or be an active member of the Bank Officers Leadership Team (BOLT).
• Management Endorsement: Applicants must receive endorsement from their bank’s management for enrollment in the GSB program.
