Information and Eligibility:

QGenda, a leader in healthcare workforce management solutions, has partnered with AACN to offer a $5,000 scholarship to students in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs at AACN member schools. The scholarship cycle and eligibility vary depending on the level of nursing program.

Eligibility criteria include:

• Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in a nursing program at an AACN member school, with cycle-specific requirements:
• July: Entry-level baccalaureate programs only
• February: Accelerated baccalaureate or master’s programs only
• October: Master’s and doctoral programs only
• Academic Achievement: Minimum 3.5 GPA required.
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Reference: One academic or professional reference is required.
• Essay: A 500-word (max) essay on how the applicant wants to make an impact as a nurse OR how a nurse has specifically impacted them.

Application Process
All applicants must submit the following:

• Completed Application: Submitted through the online platform during the appropriate cycle.
• Essay: 500-word maximum essay as outlined in eligibility.
• Reference: One academic or professional reference letter.

Deadline:

• 1st Cycle: May 1 – July 1
• 2nd Cycle: August 1 – October 1
• 3rd Cycle: December 1 – February 1
