The Race Entry “Race to Inspire” Scholarship, offered by Race Entry, an online race registration company, supports students who value self-improvement and enhanced health through race preparation and participation. This annual essay contest awards $500 to a college student who shares an inspiring personal story about participating in a running event.

Eligible running events include 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons, and marathons. Essays should detail what inspired the applicant to run, the challenges they faced, and what they learned from the experience. Essays must be 1,000–2,000 words and will be evaluated based on originality, creativity, and ability to inspire others.

Eligibility criteria include:

• Enrollment: Must be enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university during the fall semester of the application year.
