It is specifically for students studying film, film production, or cinematography. These highly competitive awards are given to students demonstrating superior professional filmmaking skills and creativity.

The program is open to students from universities and colleges in the U.S., Canada, and participating countries in Asia Pacific, Europe, and Latin America. Colleges and universities that offer a degree program in film, film production, or cinematography may nominate up to two students each year for consideration.

The KODAK Scholarship Program prizes awarded for excellence in filmmaking are as follows:

• Gold: $1,000 cash award and $5,000 KODAK Motion Picture Product Grant
• Silver: $4,000 KODAK Motion Picture Product Grant
• Bronze: $3,000 KODAK Motion Picture Product Grant
• Honorable Mentions: Two $2,000 KODAK Motion Picture Product Grants

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a student in a degree or diploma program for film, film production, or cinematography.
• Must demonstrate superior filmmaking production skills and creativity.
• Must be nominated by a college or university that offers a film-related degree program.
