The scholarship aims to recognize students who have exceptional academic records and who show potential for success in both their academic careers and future leadership roles.

Eligibility for the Scott Scholars program includes:

• Full-Time Enrollment: Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students enrolling at UNO.
• Academic Excellence: Applicants should have an exceptional academic record, with a minimum GPA of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale and strong ACT/SAT scores.
• Leadership Qualities: Applicants must demonstrate leadership skills and community involvement. This may include extracurricular activities, volunteer work, or other leadership roles in school or the community.
• Renewal Requirements: The scholarship is renewable for up to four years, provided the recipient maintains full-time enrollment and continues to meet the program’s academic and leadership expectations.
