Information and Eligibility:
The Education Loan Grant, offered by the She Runs It Foundation, is a member-exclusive benefit aimed at easing the burden of student debt and continuing education costs for professionals in marketing, media, and tech. Since its launch in 2012, the program has awarded nearly $2 million to rising industry talent across the U.S. and Canada.

Eligibility criteria include:

  • Membership Status: Must be a She Runs It member in good standing for at least 6 months and residing in the U.S. or Canada.
  • Education/Career Level: Applicant must hold an undergraduate or graduate degree—or be enrolled in industry-relevant continuing education—prior to submitting the application.
  • Loan Documentation: Applicants must submit loan or invoice documentation in their name.

Application requirements include:

  • Bio
  • Short answer explaining why they deserve the grant
  • At least one letter of recommendation (maximum two), preferably from an executive or industry colleague, structured using the provided template.
  • Loan or tuition documentation in applicant’s name
  • Current resume

Selection is based on the applicant’s contributions to She Runs It and the broader industry, their future commitments, and career progress to date. Grant recipients also participate in a cohort project aligned with She Runs It’s mission, attending virtual brainstorming sessions three times a year.

Deadline:

  • Application opens: Typically each Fall (September–November; dates vary annually).
  • Award announcement: Generally made in or around January
