The Simek’s Commercial Scholarship Contest gives creative students the opportunity to win a $1,000 college scholarship by producing a 30-second commercial featuring Simek’s products. Simek’s, a family-owned company known for its high-quality frozen meal solutions since 1972, created this contest to encourage students to showcase their creativity, marketing talent, and video production skills.
This scholarship is open to high school juniors, high school seniors, and college students with at least one year of school remaining. Applicants must create an original 30-second commercial that highlights Simek’s products in a fun, engaging, or compelling way. Submissions must follow all program guidelines and may not use copyrighted material without permission.
After submission, videos are published for public viewing, and the top 10 videos with the most views advance to the final judging round. Simek’s internal judging panel then selects the winner based on creativity, originality, effectiveness, and overall quality of the commercial.
