The State Farm National Merit Scholarship could give you up to $2,500 to put towards your college education. The State Farm Companies Foundation sponsors 20 State Farm National Merit Scholarships for college on an annual basis. These achievement scholarships are awarded to African-American high school seniors selected by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation based on PSAT/NMSQT scores, Academic distinction, personal achievement and leadership abilities. State Farm National Merit Scholarships are awarded as a one-time, nonrenewable $2,500 scholarship. The award money may be used toward full-time study at an accredited U.S. college or university.
