The Sodexo Foundation STOP Hunger Scholarship honors students who are making a meaningful impact in the fight against hunger throughout the United States. This scholarship recognizes young leaders who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to their communities by engaging in unpaid volunteer service focused specifically on reducing hunger.
Eligible applicants must be enrolled in an accredited educational institution within the United States and must have performed ongoing, unpaid volunteer service related to hunger relief within the past 12 months. This includes activities such as organizing food drives, volunteering at food pantries, developing hunger awareness campaigns, or launching hunger-relief initiatives in their communities.
Each national STOP Hunger Scholarship recipient receives a $5,000 scholarship to support their education. In addition, Sodexo makes a $5,000 grant in the recipient’s name to a hunger-related charity of their choosing, enabling students to extend their impact beyond their personal volunteer work.
