Information And Eligibility: Stop-Painting offers a $500 scholarship for college each year, in an effort to promote efficiency, safety, and organization within the workplace. To apply, students are asked to compose an 800 to 1000 word essay on the following topic: To keep industrial facilities safe and organized, companies use colors and signs to visually communicate with their employees, please explain how marking the floor of an industrial facility could increase efficiency, safety, and organization. Stop-Painting Floor Marking Scholarship applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent legal residents of the United States. Applicants must be high school seniors, college freshmen, college sophomores, or college juniors who are enrolled or plan to enroll as full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university. This college scholarship opportunity is not based on the applicants financial need or grade point average, only on their submitted essay. All essays must be submitted by the deadline given on the providers website to be considered for the award, and only one essay can be submitted per applicant.
