Information And Eligibility:
Sub Pop Records is proud to announce the return of the Sub Pop Loser Scholarship for its 18th year. This scholarship is for three eligible high school seniors from Washington or Oregon who are on their way to full-time enrollment at an accredited university or college. Each scholarship recipient will receive $6,000 to support their college education. While the scholarship is particularly aimed at students involved or interested in music and/or creative media and arts, applicants do not need to be pursuing an education in the arts to apply.
Sub Pop believes in celebrating the “misfits, weirdos, and losers,” and is looking for applicants who embrace their true selves and have an interest in being part of underground, independent culture. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors from Washington or Oregon and plan to attend a college or university in the fall.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit digital links or hard copies of artwork, community involvement photos, radio show links, videos, etc. (although it’s not required). Note that Sub Pop will not return submitted materials, so please avoid sending originals.
