Name: Texas Top 10 Percent Scholarship

Award Amount: $2,000 per year, renewable for up to four years.

Information And Eligibility:
The Texas Top 10% Scholarship is awarded to high school graduates who rank in the top 10% of their class and are attending a Texas public college or university.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a Texas resident.
  • Must graduate in the top 10% of the high school class.
  • Enroll full-time at an eligible Texas public institution within 16 months of graduation.
  • Demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA or TASFA.

Application Requirements:

  • Complete the FAFSA or TASFA by the deadline.
  • Provide official transcripts verifying class rank.

Additional Details:

  • Award is renewable for up to four years with satisfactory academic progress.
  • Funds are limited, so early FAFSA submission is recommended.
