If you are a high school, college or adult learner and are looking for ways to pay for college, then the College JumpStart Scholarship may be for you. To apply for The College JumpStart Scholarship you must be a current student (high school or college) or be planning to enter college within the next 12 months. You must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident, and must complete the online application including the personal statement. This is a college scholarship where financial need, grades or test scores are not factors!
The College JumpStart Scholarship Fund was founded in 2009 by Susan Lark, and is funded through her generosity and corporate donations. The College JumpStart Scholarship is an annual, merit-based competition (financial need is not considered) that is open to 10th-12th graders, college students and non-traditional students. The main requirement is that you are committed to going to school and can express your goals for getting a higher education. The College JumpStart Scholarship offers the following awards:
