Information And Eligibility: The Dog Fence DIY Scholarship Contest is offering a $2,000 college scholarship award to help pre-veterinary and veterinary students with their college education costs. Eligible applicants must be a full-time student in good standing at an accredited college or university, and must be enrolled in a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program, an undergraduate biology program, pre-veterinary studies program, or the equivalent to one of these. Applicants must have a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.5 on a 4.0 grading scale, and all undergraduate applicants, must have completed the first two years of their undergraduate education and be declared as a biology or pre-veterinary studies major. Applicants who meet the above requirements are eligible to apply, and will be asked to submit a 2,000 word essay on How to Be A Better Pet-Owner: Advice from a Veterinary Student. One winner will be selected from all eligible entries to win a $2,000 scholarship, distributed in increments of $500 per semester, and can be used at the student’s discretion.
