Information And Eligibility: The HENAAC Scholars Program was founded on the goals of increasing the number domestic engineers and scientists within the United States, contributing to Hispanic communities by developing STEM role models for future generations, and securing the United States place as a technological leader within the world.
The scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors and current college students, who plan to be enrolled or are currently enrolled as a full-time student, in a science, technology, engineering or math field, at an accredited college or university, in the United States. Most of the scholarships offered under the HENAAC Scholars Program will require students to be legal citizens or residents of the United States, however, some scholarship sponsors within the program do not have a citizenship requirement, so all students are encouraged to apply. Qualified applicants must be of Hispanic descent, or must significantly participate in organizations and activities in the Hispanic community. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, however in special cases, students who have a less GPA may be considered for an award. Applicants must be currently majoring in, or planning to major in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics related degree program.
