Name: The Discovery Education Toyota Teen Driver Video Challenge

Information And Eligibility: The Toyota Teen Driver Scholarship, along with Discovery Education is offering $15000, $10000, $7500, and $1000 scholarships to the teens who submit the best two-minute, short video showing what they would do to make teens safer drivers. The Toyota Teen Driver Scholarship is open to legal U.S. residents who are high school freshmen, sophomore, junior, or senior students enrolled at a school located in one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia. Eligible applicants may work alone or in a group of two to four students to create an original video on the topic of teen safety while driving (official guidelines are listed on the sponsors website). All eligible videos will be judged by a panel of judges comprised from Discovery Education, Toyota, educators and community leaders. Entries will be scored using the following set of criteria: creativity of video (50% of total score), video content (30% of total score), and presentation (20% of total score). The top ten videos selected by the judges will be added to an online pole, and the public will be allowed to vote for the grand prize winner(s).
