The UNO Alumni Association Scholarship is awarded to students who are either related to UNO alumni or have shown exceptional academic potential and community involvement. This scholarship aims to strengthen the connection between UNO and its alumni community by providing financial assistance to students who embody the values of the university. The scholarship is available to both incoming and current undergraduate students who demonstrate strong academic and leadership skills.

Eligibility for the UNO Alumni Association Scholarship includes:

• Alumni Connection: Applicants must be the child or grandchild of a UNO alumnus, or they must demonstrate a strong connection to the university through service or involvement with the alumni community.
• Academic Excellence: Applicants should have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• Leadership and Community Involvement: Involvement in extracurricular activities, volunteer work, or leadership roles is highly encouraged and can strengthen the application.
• Renewal Requirements: The scholarship is renewable for up to four years, provided that the recipient maintains full-time enrollment and a minimum GPA of 3.0.
