The Public Safety Officer Career Advancement Grant (PSOCAG) is a state-funded initiative aimed at supporting certified peace officers employed by Utah law enforcement agencies. This grant provides financial assistance to officers pursuing post-secondary degrees in criminal justice or related fields, empowering them to enhance their knowledge, leadership skills, and career opportunities in public safety.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a certified peace officer employed by a Utah law enforcement agency.
• Enrolled in an eligible post-secondary degree program in criminal justice or a related field.
• Demonstrate commitment to maintaining satisfactory academic progress as defined by the program.
• Meet any additional criteria outlined by the Utah System of Higher Education (USHE).

Application Requirements:

• Submit a completed application through the designated PSOCAG portal.
• Provide proof of employment as a certified peace officer in Utah.
• Submit documentation of enrollment in an eligible degree program.
