The Washington State Opportunity Scholarship supports low-income students pursuing a STEM or health care degree. This scholarship is designed to promote success and retention in these fields, with a focus on students from underrepresented backgrounds.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a resident of Washington state.
• Must be pursuing a STEM or health care degree.
• Must demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA or WASFA.
• Must maintain a GPA of 2.75 or higher to remain eligible.

Application Requirements:

• Complete the FAFSA or WASFA.
• Submit an essay on how you plan to use your degree in STEM or health care.

Additional Details:

• Provides academic support services and networking opportunities throughout the award period.
• Renewable up to four years, provided eligibility is maintained.
