Information And Eligibility:
The WICHE Professional Student Exchange Program (PSEP) allows Utah residents to enroll in cooperating out-of-state optometry and podiatry professional programs that are not available at public institutions in Utah. Through WICHE PSEP, students receive financial support from the state of Utah to pay reduced tuition rates at participating institutions, significantly lowering the cost of professional education.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a legal resident of Utah.
  • Accepted into a participating WICHE PSEP professional program (e.g., optometry or podiatry).
  • Meet all application, residency verification, and eligibility requirements as set by the Utah System of Higher Education (USHE) and WICHE.

Application Requirements:

  • Submit a completed application to the WICHE PSEP program through the designated portal.
  • Provide residency verification documentation as required by USHE.
  • Submit proof of acceptance into a participating WICHE PSEP institution.
  • Complete any additional forms or documentation required by the program.
