Name: The Women in Public Finance Scholarship

Information And Eligibility: Women in Public Finance has a long standing tradition of supporting young women in their aspirations of achieving successful careers in the finance industry. Through their scholarship program, they help to recognize college-bound high school females who have exhibited scholastic achievement and leadership skills. This scholarship helps to encourage young women to consider careers in finance and, more specifically, public finance. Women in Public Finance provides a scholarship award for up to ten recipients, each year.
To qualify and apply, applicants must meet the following requirements: a female, college-bound high school student entering her senior year. A minimum GPA of 3.0. Must exhibit leadership skills through extracurricular activities, volunteer positions, and/or work experience. Must have an interest in pursuing a public finance related career in finance, government, nonprofits or law. Must complete and submit the full application form, including answers to the required short essay questions, and a copy of their unofficial high school transcript before the application deadline of the given year.
