Information And Eligibility: College-bound women, who are pursuing a career in computer science, information technology, management information systems, or another technology-related field of study, may qualify for the Visionary Integration Professionals Women In Technology Scholarship Program. Visionary Integration Professionals is committed to improving educational opportunities for young women, and investing in the future of the IT industry though it’s annual scholarship program. To qualify, students must be college-bound females, who have been accepted into or are currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year college or university within the United States. Applicants must be planning to pursue a career in computer science, information technology, management information systems, or another IT related field. Applicants must be legal residents of the United States of America, must have a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher, and must have participated in some community services or extracurricular activities. All qualified applicants will be judged on the following criteria: academic performance, community involvement, extracurricular activities, leadership, and their short essay response.
