Information And Eligibility: The Worldstudio Foundation, along with AIGA, the professional association for design, is proud to offer college scholarships to minority and economically challeged students who would like to study design or art-related majors at colleges and universities in the United States. Students majoring in Advertising, Fine arts, Graphic design, Illustration, Interactive design/motion graphics, or Photography are all eligible to apply for the Worldstudio AIGA Scholarships. Scholarship applicants must be legal residents of the United States, must have a minimum 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, and must demonstrate a financial need. Worldstudio AIGA Scholarships are available to both undergraduate students and graduate students pursuing a major in one of the required art disciplines.
Worldstudio AIGA Scholarships are awarded in the amounts of $2,000 to $3,000, though a few scholarship awards may be given in an amount up to $5,000 at the scholarship selection jury’s discretion. All Worldstudio AIGA Scholarships will be paid directly to the winners school to be applied toward their tuition. In addition to the Worldstudio AIGA Scholarships, there are several $500 cash honorable mention prizes awarded.
