Information And Eligibility: The FIRE’s Freedom In Academia Scholarship, is an essay based scholarship opportunity offering one first place winner a $5,000 college scholarship, one second place winner a $2,500 college scholarship, and five runners-up a $1000 college scholarship. The FIRE’s Freedom In Academia Scholarship is open to all current high school seniors, who will be graduating in the upcoming year, and who will be enrolling in an accredited college, university, or educational institution.
