Information And Eligibility: The NPG Scholarship Contest (Negative Population Growth Scholarship Contest) is providing six scholarship prizes, ranging from $2,000 to $500. The NPG is a national membership organization devoted to population issues, and is providing students with the opportunity to compete in their annual NPG Scholarship Contest (Negative Population Growth Scholarship Contest). Students who wish to apply for The NPG Scholarship Contest are requested to provide NPG with a three to five point plan outlining ways to educate freshmen legislators about what can be done to slow, halt and reverse today’s out of control population growth. Scholarship essay submissions must be between 500 and 750 words, and applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident, that is a senior in high school or a college freshman, sophomore or junior in an undergraduate program.
