Information And Eligibility: The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation, along with the help of The American Academy of Chefs, are proud to support high school students and current college students, who are perusing a college education by offering financial help through their educational scholarship programs. A limited number of college scholarships will be awarded to the most qualified applicants annually. Award amounts will be based on the availability of institutional and private funds. To qualify for application students must meet the minimum requirements: must be an exemplary student with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale). If applicant is a high school senior, they must be eligible to graduate the same year as the scholarship application date, and must be currently accepted to an accredited, post-secondary college. All applicants must be perusing a major in the culinary or pastry arts, or must be an ACF registered apprentice. Applicants should have a career goal of becoming a chef or pastry chef. All completed applications will be reviewed by the scholarship committee, and the most qualified applicants will be chosen for an award based on a point structured system.
