• Must be a certified Arkansas teacher employed full-time in a public school district.
• Must teach in a subject or geographic area designated as a critical shortage by the Arkansas Department of Education.
• Commit to teaching in the designated area for a specified number of years, as determined by the ADHE.

Application Requirements:

• Submit the STEP application through the ADHE Scholarship Application Management System (SAMS).
