Information And Eligibility:
The Asparagus Club Scholarship is awarded to students pursuing degrees in Business, Food Management, Accounting, Human Resources, IT, or other fields that lead to a career in the grocery industry. The scholarship aims to support students who demonstrate a commitment to pursuing a career in this sector. While prior experience in the grocery industry is preferred, it is not required.

Each year, the Asparagus Club awards a maximum of ten scholarships, which are renewable for up to four consecutive semesters, provided the recipient maintains full-time student status and a minimum GPA of 2.5. Scholarships are open to rising juniors, seniors, and graduate students who are currently enrolled at the time of disbursement.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a high school, college, or graduate student
• Must be pursuing a degree in Business, Food Management, Accounting, Human Resources, IT, or other relevant fields leading to a career in the grocery industry
• Must maintain full-time student status and a minimum GPA of 2.5 to renew each semester/quarter
• Experience in the grocery industry is preferred but not required

Application Requirements:
Applicants must submit a completed application form, a personal essay, and provide two letters of recommendation. The essay should demonstrate the applicant’s interest in the grocery industry and their future career goals within the field.
