Name: The AT&T Internet and Education Scholarship

Award Amount: $1000

Information And Eligibility: Create an original and factual infographic showing how students utilize social media in and out of the classroom, and you could win $1000 towards your college education and expenses. The Internet and Education Scholarship offers two chances every year for students to participate and win. To be eligible, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Legal Residents of the United States. The scholarship contest is open to high school seniors, who have a cumulative high school grade point average 2.5 or better, and who have completed either the ACT or SAT test. High school senior applicants must have plans to attend an accredited college or university in the Spring semester.

The scholarship contest is also open to current college freshman, sophomores, juniors, seniors and current graduate students. Current college applicants must have a cumulative college grade point average of 2.5 or better, and must be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university. Winners are selected by a team of judges, and are judged on creativity, thoughtfulness, and insight, and how well they promoted their infographic post. Each winner will receive a one-time $1000 scholarship to be applied to qualified expenses, including graduate and undergraduate tuition, fees, books, and on-campus room and board.
