Award Amount:

• Georgia Residents: $2,000 renewable annual scholarship.

The Baldwin Scholarship is awarded to first-year students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and reflect the University of Georgia’s admissions philosophy. This merit-based scholarship supports academically talented students from Georgia.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Residency: Must be a Georgia resident.
• Academic Achievement: Must demonstrate strong academic performance, including a competitive GPA and standardized test scores.
• Enrollment: Must be admitted to the University of Georgia as a first-year student.

Selection Criteria:

• High academic performance and rigor of high school coursework.
• Demonstrated potential for success at UGA.

Application Requirements:

• Submit the First-Year application to the University of Georgia.
• Applicants are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their application for admission.

Additional Information:

• The scholarship is renewable for up to four years, provided recipients maintain full-time enrollment and a 3.0 UGA GPA.
