Information And Eligibility: The BP Community Scholarship Program supports investing in the future of communities where they operate by encouraging local high school seniors to pursue their dreams of a college education. The BP Community Scholarship Program has gained the support of more than 180 local BP station owners and operators through their participation in the BP Fueling Communities Program, because of this many high school students will receive BP Community Scholarships.
To be considered for the BP Community Scholarship Program students must meet the following criteria: Students must be a current high school senior planning to enroll as a full-time college student in an accredited two or four-year college or university in the United States. Students must legally reside in New York City, Long Island or northern New Jersey, possess at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, and be able to demonstrate financial need.
