Information And Eligibility: CansCount.org is giving students the opportunity to earn money for college, simply by recycling aluminum cans in their community. This college scholarship opportunity is open to all students between the ages of 13 and 25 years old. To get started, all applicants must fill out the CansCount.org College Scholarship application and registration form located on their website. Once applicants have registered they can start to document their recycling activities and compete for a chance to win one of four college scholarships.
The CansCount.org College Scholarship is open to all legal residents of the United States, and all international students with valid visas. Once applicants have completed the recycling activities required on the CansCount website, applicants must submit a short essay answering the question: How have my recycling activities influenced others in my community? The CansCount.org College Scholarships will be awarded to the four individuals who have recorded the most impressive recycling activities and submitted the best essay answer. There will be one $500 Scholarship winner, one $250 Scholarship winner, and two $125 Scholarship winners.
