Cisco Systems, Inc. is a multinational corporation that designs and sells consumer electronics, networking and communications technology, and services. Cisco Systems, Inc. is extending a college scholarship opportunity to select students involved within the computer industry or students looking to attend school in a computer-related discipline. The Cisco Systems Scholarship Program is designed to provide financial support and Cisco internship opportunities for African American Electrical Engineering or Computer Science majors, with a special focus on women and students who demonstrate exceptional community service.
Scholarship applicants must display an outstanding academic achievement record, with a minimum 3.20 GPA requirement on a scale of 4.0. Applicants must be majoring in the fields of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and/or Electrical Engineering. The Cisco Systems Scholarship Program offers up to $4,000 in scholarship awards to each recipient.
