Information And Eligibility: This is an essay-based college scholarship opportunity, that is open to all students who are 17 years of age and older. Students must be currently enrolled in an accredit college in the United States, or plan to start at a qualifying college within the next 12 months. Applicants may be full-time or part-time students, but all applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States. To enter, applicants must complete the online scholarship application, along with a short essay of 150 words or less, that answers the question: What is your primary goal for going to school? All valid entries will be reviewed by a judging committee, and applications will be judged primarily on the applicants short essay. The first place award is a $1,500 scholarship which will be paid directly to the applicant or designated school. Scholarship winners may use the award to pay for tuition, books, room and board, computers or anything else related to education.
