Award Amount:

  • Full-Ride Scholarship: Covers tuition, fees, room & board, required books for four years, plus a laptop and printer at the start of freshman year.
  • Undergraduate Scholarship: Full resident tuition, books, and fees for one year.
  • Graduate Scholarship: Full resident tuition, books, and fees for one year.

Information And Eligibility:
The Colorado Garden Foundation offers several scholarships to support students pursuing degrees in horticulture and related fields at Colorado institutions. These scholarships aim to foster the next generation of professionals in areas such as agriculture business, horticulture, floriculture, landscape architecture, botany, and more.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Full-Ride Scholarship:
    • Must be a Colorado resident.
    • Must be an incoming freshman at a publicly funded Colorado college or university.
    • Must pursue a degree in one of the specified fields of study.
  • Undergraduate Scholarship:
    • Must be enrolled in a recognized accredited college in Colorado.
    • Must have completed at least 3 semesters with a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
    • Must have completed specific coursework in botany, horticulture, and related plant sciences.
  • Graduate Scholarship:
    • Must be enrolled in a master’s or doctorate program in a related field at a recognized accredited college in Colorado.
    • Must have graduated from an accredited undergraduate program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
    • Must have completed specific coursework in botany, horticulture, and related plant sciences.

Application Requirements:

  • Complete the respective scholarship application form.
  • Submit official transcripts demonstrating academic performance and required coursework.
  • Provide letters of recommendation as specified in the application.
  • Include a personal statement discussing background, career goals, and commitment to the chosen field of study.
