Information And Eligibility: The American Society of Human Genetics offers their annual scholarship opportunity (The DNA Day Scholarship Contest) to high school students grades 9-12. The DNA Day Scholarship Contest is an essay based scholarship opportunity, which provides between $150-$400 to it’s winners. The contest aims to challenge students to examine, question, and reflect on the important concepts of genetics. Students can choose between two different short essay questions, and essays will be judged by a minimum of two different independent judges. The DNA Day Scholarship Contest Essays are limited to 750 words per essay, and essays will be accepted from high school students outside of the USA.
