Name: The US Dish Entertainment Blogging Scholarship

Information And Eligibility: US Dish Network is giving students the chance to win $1000 for college through their Entertainment Blogging Scholarship. For a chance to win some free money for college the US Dish Network is asking eligible applicants to compose a 300 to 500 word article/blog post on which movie or TV show you feel has had the most influence on society, and why. Scholarship applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Legal Residents of the United States. Applicants must be high school seniors who are enrolled or plan to enroll as full-time freshman at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university, and must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Entertainment Blogging Scholarship winners will be chosen by a panel of judges who will judge each qualified applicants blog article on creativity, thoughtfulness, and how well they promoted their post. Winners will receive a one-time scholarship award of $1000 that can be used towards college tuition, and related educatioal expenses.
